Our goats are Boer x Anglo Nubian. The Boer breed is the classic meat goat. It has quite a stocky chunky body. The Anglo Nubian breed is a dairy breed and has a much slighter build and therefore not as good for meat production but some people think tastes better than Boer goats, therefore a cross between the two breeds should provide chunky goats with a better tasting meat. Our sheep are Wiltshire Horn sheep. They shed their fleece which means that there is no shearing needed. They can also breed at different times in the year and they provide a very tasty meat. To find out more about our sheep click here.
